I’m a freelance cartoonist, humorous illustrator and writer living in Michigan’s gorgeous and snowy Upper Peninsula. More or less self-taught, I’ve been selling my comic art since 1985. Any success I’ve had is due in large measure to a supportive, patient and loving wife, my family, and a very special circle of friends. I also want to thank the many cartoonists, artists and writers who (to this day) patiently answer my questions, give me pointers and encourage me along the way.

I enjoy corresponding with people (of all ages) who love to draw cartoons or are thinking about a career in this business.
